I am a qualified Transpersonal Counselor, with more than 16 years counseling experience. My journey as a Counselor began in New York where I received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and Interpersonal Communication from Hunter College, CUNY. I then moved to Los Angeles where I worked primarily with children. My experience with adults began in Asia where I counseled individuals and couples, mainly there on ex-pat assignments, or who had permanently relocated.
I hold a Master of Social Science Degree in Counseling from The University of South Australia, Adelaide, Australia, where I lived for four years. I am an Associate Member of the American Psychological Association and a member of the American Counseling Association.
I was born in the Caribbean, and moved to the United States as a teenager. I have lived in Australia, Singapore and India, returning to the United States in 2009. My clients are global, coming from places such as England, France, Australia, Germany, Peru, Brazil, Canada, the United States, Kenya, India, Ethiopia, Ireland and Scotland.
A multinational and multicultural perspective gives me a keener appreciation for individual differences. I value the uniqueness of each person, and the life, cultural and environmental experiences which shape thoughts and choices.
I have conducted seminars and workshops on managing change, emotional release and infertility. I have been published on the emotional issues relating to infertility.
